Although all TUUCI shade equipment is rigorously tested and
built to withstand incredible forces of nature, TUUCI does not
recommend use of any collapsible shade equipment in winds that
exceed 25 MPH. TUUCI cannot specifically predict how much base
weight will be required for weather conditions at specific installations,
but, as a guide, base weight requirements should be calculated
at approximately 6lbs per mile an hour of wind expected. TUUCI
can only warranty products that are properly secured to an adequate
base or other wind security device, and does not cover damage
to shade equipment that occurs as a result of contact with the
ground or any foreign object, including those caused by severe
acts of nature.
