Ocean Master MAX and Plantation MAX Collections Boast Increased Durability and Shade Coverage
TUUCI, a global leader in the design and manufacture of innovative shade structures, has expanded its already impressive product line with the introduction of the Ocean Master MAX and Plantation MAX collections. The parasols in both collections expand into a giant-parasol system by "maximizing” the size and scale of its components creating a durable and functionally supreme shade platform.
"The Ocean Master MAX and Plantation MAX collections are a direct response to our customers' demands for more extensive shade coverage,” said Dougan Clarke, founder and CEO of TUUCI. "We want to make shady spaces as large and accessible as we can to create comfortable outdoor living areas.”
The new collections invite a change in scale and scope to increase the enjoyment factor of any outdoor environment. With canopies ranging from 8 feet to 18 feet in diameter, this expansive shade coverage allows for multiple dining tables and deep seating areas beneath one canopy. In order to maintain such large canopies, the TUUCI design team also engineered the V-MAX™ Strut Design, which features a four-point profile concentrating strength along the radial walls. This creates reinforcement at the exact positions where maximum wind forces are applied. "Such a superior strut design allows our parasols to be more rigid,” Clarke said. "This creates a longer life span and decreases the chances of the mast breaking in a high wind situation.” Constructed of TUUCI's exclusive Armor-Wall-Aluminum mast, the Plantation MAX parasols are coated with an impervious hardwood finish called DuraTeak™. This state-of-the-art polymer finish is resistant to all types of sea-side corrosion with the ability to maintain its long-grain hardwood appearance. The Plantation MAX Classic, the exclusive parasol to the collection, features a giant canopy with classic European tailoring. The strength of aluminum and stainless steel combined with the warm look of wood creates the perfect parasol for cool shade in a warm ambiance.
