TUUCI Introduces the CABO™ Parasol and Crescent™ Lounge
Lounge and Pavilion Collections Add to Hospitality Ambiance and Revenue
November 11, 2008
TUUCI, a global leader in design and innovative shade structures, introduces the CABOTM parasol and CrescentTM Lounge.
The CABO is constructed of solid, marine-grade fiberglass composite struts which flex to absorb extremely windy conditions without being damaged. TUUCI's patented and proprietary independent bracket system adds additional strength and beauty creating a parasol in a class of its own.
"We named the CABO parasol after the beautifully rugged, wind-swept environments of the Baja Peninsula," said Dougan Clarke, TUUCI founder and CEO. "We have been producing fiberglass parasols since the inception of our company 10 years ago; the CABO parasol is a culmination of this tenured experience and our marine construction background."
Available in a beachwood finish or satin aluminum finish, the CABO is guaranteed to provide refined beauty and durable shade utility in the harshest desert or seaside environments.
"Hotels, clubs and resorts alike are increasingly turning to higher quality shade equipment, which define their properties and provide comfort and ambiance for luxurious guest experiences," said Clarke. "There is no substitute for durable and beautiful shade systems, which impact the comfort and relaxation experience."
The Crescent Lounge, aptly named for its brilliant cascading parasol top, redefines luxury and comfort in any outdoor environment. "The Crescent Lounge is an oasis of comfort," said Clarke. "It is both a sun lounge and day bed pavilion with an abundant array of seating and lounging configurations."
The Crescent Lounge features an oversized, yet easy to remove parasol top which can allow the sun to peak in. It is flanked by four crescent shaped ottomans which stretch the lounging capacity of this unique outdoor room. Riding on more than 100 square feet of plush cushions, throw pillows, sheer drapery and full open air shade coverage, the enjoyment of nature's elements has never been so relaxing.
Constructed of TUUCI's Armor-Wall-Aluminum framework, stainless steel hardware and marine-grade components, the Crescent Lounge is suited to withstand any outdoor environment. As a private relaxation oasis, it is intended to be used directly on the beach, poolside or even roof top while secured to adequate deck mounts.
"Hotels and resorts utilize lounges and pavilions to add style, comfort and an additional revenue stream to outdoor spaces," said Tom Parker, president of TUUCI. "Guests enjoy the comfort and privacy of lounges and pavilions that fulfill their vacation fantasies of tranquil relaxation. Lounges are symbolic of a luxurious, leisure lifestyle and people are attracted to that. A lounge is a vacation within itself."
"While hotels and resorts enjoy the ambiance created by lounges and pavilions, they also benefit from additional revenue when used as spas, massage areas, private guest rentals," Clarke said. "Pavilion and lounge designs are a natural extension of our expertise with parasols, incorporating similar design elements and attention to form and function. Ease of installation and maintenance make our pavilion and lounge collections ideal for hospitality applications."
