TUUCI's Crescent™ Lounge Wins Multiple Design Awards
Fashion-Forward Design, Durable Construction Appeal to Wide Array of Audiences

The Crescent(TM) Lounge, a unique shade system created by TUUCI, recently won design awards at two major trade shows, drawing attention to TUUCI's cutting edge design and originality that have continually redefined the shade category.
The Crescent Lounge was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award for excellence in design, innovation and specialty fabrics during the October Industrial Fabrics Association International Expo in Charlotte, N.C. In September the Crescent Lounge was awarded the 2008 Design Excellence Award in the shade category during the International Casual Furniture Market in Chicago, Ill. The awards saluted the best of new product design and winners were chosen from among 145 entries.

TUUCI designed the Crescent Lounge to be an open air living space with seating around it. Complete with curved lines, scalloped details and a shape that resembles the TUUCI logo, the Crescent Lounge has an oversized bed that allows room for four adults. Four flanking crescent shaped ottomans add lounging capacity for up to eight additional people.
Constructed of TUUCI's Armor-Wall-Aluminum framework, stainless steel hardware and marine-grade components, the Crescent Lounge is suited to withstand any outdoor environment. The design includes more than 100 square feet of plush cushions, throw pillows and sheer draperies for added comfort and privacy. The Crescent Lounge can be used directly on the beach, poolside or even roof top.

Clarke credits life experience and extensive travel for the design inspiration for the Crescent Lounge and other TUUCI products.
