Tuuci® Introduces the Urban Garden Planter Collection

Miami, FL, September 14th, 2023

A move beyond shade to enhance luxurious outdoor living

Tuuci®, the design manufacturer of nautically inspired parasols and shade structures, introduces the Urban Garden Planter Collection for residential and commercial use. Drawing from Tuuci’s experience with marine materials, these botanical vessels blend design and durability to deliver a curated outdoor experience. With two designs, Highland and Mainland, in a variety of colors and finishes, the Urban Garden Planter Collection lives comfortably in modern or traditional environments while the multitude of sizes and shapes offer varying degrees of space planning and privacy.

“Tuuci is passionate about helping designers and their clients expand residential and commercial properties through the craft of outdoor spacemaking,” said Dougan Clarke, Founder, CEO and Chief Product Architect for Tuuci. “Our planters further Tuuci’s ability to create warm, organic outdoor spaces that evoke a sense of comfort and tranquility within these destinations. The Urban Garden Planter Collection reflects a design reminiscent of our nautical roots. Featuring premium finishes and materials that complement indoor, outdoor, and flex spaces, these planters bring serenity and privacy to landscape architecture.”

Redolent of the mixed materials found on sailing yachts and today’s luxurious furniture designs, the Highland Planter features finished ridges peaking between channels. The Highland Planter was recognized with a Design Excellence Award at the International Casual Furnishings Association (ICFA) Casual Market in July and was named a HiP Awards Finalist at NeoCon in June. Highland Planters offer the collection’s greatest design flexibility with 14 finishes to choose from including Tuuci’s exclusive Aluma-TEAK® wood tones or neutral powder coat hues.

The simple and monochromatic aesthetic of the Mainland Planter offers a nod to contemporary design roots. Blend these into any project by selecting a neutral tone or stand out by choosing a contrasting color to best suit the environment.

The collection speaks to the core elements of every Tuuci product, delivering a sense of intentional design with high performance. Enhancement options for both planters include casters for increased flexibility and effortless mobility, screen attachments in both trellis and espalier designs for planters, freestanding trellis screens for privacy and space division, and attached or freestanding light posts for evening lighting and ambiance. Ideal for creating a particular design setting, entryway, or walkway in the space, the entire collection is protected by a generous five-year warranty.
